Tally Ho and Bon Voyage

I realize it's been almost a week since my last post, but this will probably be about how often I make a regular post (~weekly). I've been in the midst of finals over the past week and a half, and I'm glad they're finally over. Hoorah! I've been spending the time equally partitioned between studying and watching an abnormal amount of House Hunters, Property Brothers (HGTV), and The Lord of the Rings (the only logical way to prepare for a trip to New Zealand, right?).

I'm just going to go ahead an say it - I LEAVE IN 2 DAYS!!! I cannot believe that it's so close already. I've got my suitcase sitting here on my floor, and it's been staring at me for the past couple of days. I guess I should actually pack it at some point :) No, but really, I pretty much handled the whole packing thing yesterday and today. It's kind of strange - I actually enjoy packing to some extent.

Aussie Roo

I got to shadow an ag extension agent yesterday afternoon through a program UGA offers called "Intern for a Day." It was really cool to have that insight into the field, and I got to know my way around Jackson county a little bit.

Sorry this post is pretty short, but not a whole lot has been going on other than finals and packing. My next post will probably either be from the LA airport, where I have a good 5-6 hour layover, or from the grand land itself! (Or if I get bored, I might make one sooner.)

Tally Ho and Bon Voyage!
